A Fond Farewell - A Successful Experiment
Post Body

Dear Civcraft,

As with all things in life, there are times when you need to move on and say goodbye. With school starting up again for me and with even more on the line this year, I believe I need to officially quit Civcraft and all my responsibilities in game.

This means the following things to official in game positions:

  • I am leaving my post as Minister of Foreign Affairs in Fellowship.

  • I am stepping down as Chair of the NEA, a new election will need to happen.

  • The property rights of the territory of Arx will be given to the Fellowship Government. It is under the official jurisdiction and land claims of Iria however.

  • The Old Library in Fellowship will officially be given to the Fellowship Government.

  • I am leaving Fellowship officially and will no longer hold my Fellow status.

I'll be sure to be around over the next 3 days to facilitate any requests for group transfers or what ever questions people may have.

I've had a blast with Civcraft over the last 2 years. Few quick shout outs to some important people, some who have gone on to bigger things, others who are still around.

  • Monova people, my first town, still salty about Whosnick destroying the town. Fuck you man.

  • QTR_KOBRA, thanks for taking me in a bit, showing me the ropes and pointing me toward the maesters.

  • Maesters, I'm sorry I couldn't have helped more than I did. Keep up the work Marcus and all.

  • Arx, Lem, Drew, Jaerk, Pansy, Frank. You guys are awesome, had tons of fun building the towers. To bad it didn't carry over to 2.0 but shit happens. Hope you guys stay well and live good lives.

  • The Fellowship Crew. Some of my most memorable times on the server. Countless hours spent digging that bloody hole. I don't begrudge it at all. Thank you for taking me in. Oreo, 0ptix, Soul, Matey, Gerbil, you guys are great people. It was great to see the revival of the town and how it all came together. Finish the Hexagon, it needs and deserves to be completed. I would name everyone else in the town as well, but our family has grown so much I would just be typing our citizen list. I'll remember you all as I move on.

  • NEA Group, Keep it going, we need someone to step up and keep everyone organised but I know you guys can do it. Be nice to each other, respect each other's opinions.

  • TTK2, Mods and Admins. Thank you for doing what you do. Your efforts are appreciated by us all. Good luck with the [REDACTED], hope it goes well.

I may float into mumble every once in a while. Otherwise if you want to stay connected send me a PM and we'll add each other on FB.

I've taken away many life lessons from Civcraft, its not just TTK's social experiment, it is in many ways your own experiment to understand human nature. I won't outline what I've learnt, it is up to you, the reader, to learn them for yourself. Play the game, enjoy the friends you make and appreciate your community.

Cheers,

Mulificus
