Wall of text, fair warning, feel free to ignore and skip to the comments about how LADS were collectively hitler and mkcoats is a paragon of truth, justice and just being a nice guy.
In my last post I said as soon as the remaining recharge scrubs were mostly rounded up and vaulted we'd be formally dissolving. I think we're at the point now where because of a unified civcraft, they are no longer a threat.
Since a few upset cheaters and pretend rapists will probably come barging in here saying how "admins beat recharge bla bla bla", let's just remember that they a lot of them were pearled and altbanned a while ago.
Phacade was alt-banned for months and it was only because of their willingness to cheat (avoiding their altbans), among shadier tactics (doxxing and harassing people, spending hours in the LADS channel sucking up to us trying to get released etc.) a large proportion of the experienced, geared players couldn't be bothered to carry on.
Remember that when they try to discredit civcraft and its admin team. They wouldn't have been banned if it weren't for cheating, and without it, they could have dominated for a long time, but they also wouldn't have got anywhere in the first place.
Now that there's a new power vacuum, it's time for civcraft to go round again. Everybody involved in the vault break will be called world-police or similar by the newfriends in six months that enjoy the benefits of assisting the next wave of criminals. People keep posting their own opinions about how to avoid the disparity in power and the lack of accountability that it provides, but let's face it; it'll happen again so we might as well just enjoy the ride.
That said, now that most people realise just how cyclic civcraft is, there's no reason we can't try to make improvements, civcraft is an experiment and repeating with different variables is the whole point of experimentation. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next groups handle themselves. Special mention to TheJDz's efforts, having a morally upstanding, dedicated guy like him to keep people in check is the only way a world-police group might succeed without all the mess we've seen in 2.0 up to yet.
I made /r/toplads public so you can see all our evil plots. I found it funny that people would rather defend farley by saying "he isn't a LAD" because his inarguably beneficial actions weakens their argument about the whole group being bad, when he was one of the few people that actually was a real member of LADS.
TL:DR; LADS dissolve, guess we finally have a LADS solution.
