[Warning] Probable shitpost ahead!
Currently it's 2:30 Am and my sleep-deprived mind thinks it's a great idea to share my thoughts on some of the big issues surrounding civcraft, bring up some less talked about ones, and ask some questions. Anything in this post is just what i thought up of at the time of writing and is in no particular order.
Bastion Factories
So today i learned that Bastion came out and that you'd need to make bastion factories to get the bastion blocks. Prior to the release of Bastion i heard from someone that it is supposed to disable people from pearling to certain areas. Cool, i'll go check out the factory recipe on the wiki. Scroll all the way down on the page to see this jumble of words for the factory recipe and complete gibberish for making the bastion blocks. Need some explanation here.
Federal Assembly Of Grand Territories
This isn't a very talked about gripe, but i find it ridiculous that whoever owns the Federal Assembly Of Grand Territories would spend their time making up an offensive acronym that all of us have to say whenever we refer to them. Grow the fuck up. I suggest we all call them the FABT, or Federal Assembly of Big Territories.
Citadel
I know there's been a few changes surrounding citadel lately so if this has been fixed forgive me, but i hate how it automatically will turn of things like Info, Reinforce, Bypass, and Fortify. Please change if it isn't changed already!
Bots
There's been a lot of talk about bots lately but i think i'll through my two cents in. I don't believe that bots should be allowed in the game. They wreck the economy in the XP department and the only people that want bots to stay are the ones that are making chest-fulls of emerald blocks off of them.
PVP
Writing about bots reminded me of the post made by Antilink7 earlier today that regarded Prot. Since i want to sleep, i'll give you the abbreviated version of what i think should be done with PVP.
Nerf prot. I don't care how you do it but in some way, shape, or form prot needs to be downgraded. Maybe suggest a speed debuff and reduced protection.
Get some sort of debuff whenever set on fire and you don't take damage. In most fights, people have fire resist which pretty much renders the fire aspect enchant useless. People who are getting damaged by the fire don't get the debuff, making the "perfect" pvp loadout more choosy.
That's all I can think of to talk about right now. Off to bed.
