Something has not been right with Stoneburrow for a month or two now. It’s a foul, elusive problem that’s hard to identify and even harder to accept. Something that lies deep beneath the governments of big cities across the server just waiting to rear it’s ugly head.
Oh wait, no it’s not. Not at all. Stoneburrow is goddamn empty. Not a soul lives there anymore. Ever since Comrade Chesh’s ‘revolution’, all progress has been brought to a standstill. To be fair, our drive had been faltering after dealing with Chesh and his workers beforehand, but his ‘revolution’ was the straw that broke the camel’s back for us. We slowly wanted less and less to do with our project as we began travelling around. However, the idea that we invested so much into Stoneburrow prevented us from us giving up on it, so we continued to pour diamonds and hours into projects and plans that will never see the light of day.
We’ve decided to end the charade and come right out: It’s fucking clear as day that Stoneburrow is abandoned. As the owners of the land, we’re taking it out of the U3P. It should have been out of there almost a month ago, but we’ve kept putting it off in hopes our drive would return and it’d become the glorious city we imagined.(Spoiler alert: It didn't) We don’t want protectorate status or any of that jazz. We would just like a nice place to keep our factories and our storehouses. The rail station, will of course, stay open and cleaned. We’ll probably even further develop it given the chance.
What will Cman and I do now? We’re really busy IRL, so not much. We spent some time adventuring last week mapping the world border, and we’ve decided that’s a good highnote to end on. I’ll probably finish my house in NDZ and chill there for a while. Cman might join me, or he might just do some mining in his spare time. We’re not really sure.
But yeah, it’s been fun.
