I would just like to take a few moments to give you something to think about. This is addressed to the Civcrafters currently in Duck City. I am not addressing this to the HCF there, I know you guys know what you are doing. The Civcrafters on the other hand, I don't think you do. All that I ask is that you listen to what I have to say.

Now, why should you listen to me? I'm with the LADS, I say stupid things, I have tons of people who hate me. Why should you listen to me? Well, this little crusade you find yourself in isn't new, and I have been on both sides of it. I know exactly what you are thinking right now, and I know exactly how you feel.

So, first off, what are you thinking right now? Well, you guys are probably congratulating yourself on a job well done. You stuck it to the LADS, no even more, you defeated the LADS. You have walked right into the center of their territory, shown them who's boss, and promptly dethroned them. Now you will be free to come in and fill the power vacuum that will surely arise. Sure, you had to use some known griefers to help do the heavy lifting, but it's all under control. They will behave themselves when you are in power. Anything to get those awful LADS out of power, right? Those awful LADS are just a bunch of bully's. They deserve to be in the end forever. All they do is walk around like they own the place and pick on the little guys, like you. Well that is all changing now that you are in charge, you are going to make this server a better, safer place.

Does any of this sound familiar? Please tell me if I am off base, I would be fascinated to learn where this differs from the RKWildcard vaultbreak. This is exactly the mentality many of us Civcrafters had during the vaultbreak, with a few exceptions. These are exactly the things we thought and felt. We thought we had defeated the gimmick brigade, we thought we had done justice, we thought we were making civcraft a better place. We thought what you are thinking now. But we were wrong, oh so very wrong. Many of us did not know what was really going on, we were naive. None of that really happened.

So, what is really going to happen now? Well, for starters, the LADS are not gone. You did not defeat them, there is no crushing victory here. You are not going to become the major power that brings goodness to the land. The HCF will be hunted as usual, but there will be new names on the list of wanted individuals. There is a list, just as there was after the RK break, and those people on it will be pearled. There will be cities that foolishly thrown themselves full heartedly behind this cause, they will not go untouched, just as Bay City did after the RK break. The HCF you are fighting with have not turned a new leaf, they just want their friends out. Some of those HCF players should not even be playing (Isn't "Choc" in Duck right now?), just as prerequisite was not supposed to be playing at the RK break.

What I am trying to say is, stop. Stop while you still have a chance. What you are doing isn't original, it isn't noble, it isn't even right. You are only going to get yourself pearled, your friends hurt, and your towns griefed. Do you really think the HCF are trying to free innocents? No, they are freeing their griefer friends. Do you really think the LADS are just going to lay down and take this? No, there will be repercussions, and you are not going to like them. So just listen to someone who got lucky and avoided this because of the server reset, and just stop. You will live to regret your little stand, I very nearly did.
