Nexus may be the place for you!

Who are Nexus?

Nexus are a newfriend friendly city. We have no government currently, instead relying on mumble or ingame discussion to decide on what needs doing within the city. We have a sect among our members that follows the rulings of the 1st Church of Jackson (Currently awaiting the return of our beloved commandments, which were recently plundered by Clone22094866326, or something like that). This sect is specifically devoted to helping out the newfriend wanderers that turn up in our town, hungry and naked. They feed them, clothe them and supply them with either minecart, boats or supplies if they wish to continue wandering. Or building supplies if they wish to settle in Nexus. All new members of Nexus are given iron armour and a double set of iron tools. A free plot of their choosing to build on, with a choice of materials. All members have access to public wheat, carrot, potato, chicken, cow, sheep, spider, zombie, zombie pigmen and slime farms. (Slime one admittedly is a bit shit) Along with full access to almost all of the available factories, and required ingredients to run them.

Enough of the shit. So what does Nexus actually look like?

Well we are predominantly sandstone/wood/Stone brick based. Here are some pictures of the high points of our fledgeling city!

So, if you reach us via the rail in Commonwealth you will first see our train station

Once you leave that, you will be into the east housing area. The Emerald block house is Niko's. He likes to Lord around the place, throwing enchanted items at poor people. (Not to help them, to hurt them)

Headed along the west road from there, you will pass into the center of the city, this is made up of the open factories, Jackson Square, Tornare's manor (Which was recently subject to 'The Chickening'), town store rooms and the towns shopping district. Which has XP, Diamonds and Armour available to purchase with various currencies courtesy of Jackson.

North of the center you will find the area designated for XP & food farming. (If you kill those chickens, you will be killed. It has been foretold) We pride ourselves on our extremely efficient farms. We have the single most productive bull cow in all of Civcraft. He has to be kept away from the females, because he is a randy bastard.

We also have wheat, wheat and more wheat. We have newfriends to feed!

Extra bits of the town, scattered around are The 1st Church of Jackson. Blessed be our Lord, the One True Newfriend. Down with the false clay gods.

And out over the sea, we are currently building a bigger portal farm than we currently have. Gotta spawn dem ghasts.
