On the brilliance of the Prison Pearl model, and selective Justice
Post Body

People are always talking about whether this is or isn't fair, and about proof as if it's some kind of bergian absolute boolean determinate of guilt.

The beautiful thing about the Prison Pearl mechanic, is that society gets to choose who can and cannot play Civcraft to a full extent. It's only about Justice because some people make it so, it can be about whatever you like.

RupturedKidney's recent offer of extrememly selective reparations in an arrogant manner has reminded me of this again. Rather than debate about what reparations the inflammed kidney ought to pay and to whom, we have the alternative of just deciding the guy's a jerk and we don't want to play with him at all period.

Prison Pearl always brings about lots of fun choices. Choices that make us think about social composition and reasoning.
