I know these are noob questions, but I kind of want to get past them so a can laugh about noobs without being a hypocrite and I have tried to look these things up on my own. I've been playing on the new server since late the first day. In that time I've settled into a small city and have started mining. So far I've found around 10 iron most now in lava. Today, strip mining I found five diamond and zero iron and thus had no way of mining the diamond. What am I doing wrong? Practically everyone seems to have iron armer at this stage and I've seen a few in full diamond.
