Heyo Augusta: Retrospective of my time on the server
Post Body

Heyo all,

I didn't take as many screenshots as I should have during my time on the server, but I've compiled an album of some of my favorite moments, and I wanted to share some with you. I didn't post everything, so if you're bored, the full album is here.

The Lazuli Tournament was one of my first and fondest memories on the server. The ragtag team of myself, Ron, and Cutlasso managed to make it all the way to the finals, losing to the hometeam of Lazuli in a brilliant showing. Still waiting for my prize money. ;)

After a few weeks on the server and falling in love with Augusta, I decided to become the diplomat for the city, traversing the land and making amazing memories throughout the map. A small collection of the 35 embassies I built, and the many friends I made along the way:

Hanging out with darksidedbeast, personfrommars, and theTNTmaster at the Kizantium Embassy. This was one of the first embassies I built, and the furtherest away from home I'd even been. I remember being in awe at how enormous Kizantium was.

With MilZed and Strongman in Columbia. This was one of the only embassies I didn't personally build, just repaired. As I believe it was built early on by mitchellspakes, it is likely the oldest Augustan embassy.

With shortman and Lat3nt in Atmora. They were incredibly kind and housed me in a beautiful wooden hotel.

Fox and I came together for this photo to squash our differences and pose near his former prison, one of the awesome historical monuments in Augusta. I found it while digging a pathway for a road, as it was buried under meters of dirt, lost to the ages.

Speaking of Fox, an imposting shot of the sheep at Gerald prior to its burning.

The overly generous and very touching monument my fellow Augustans made.

A typical trial in Augusta, where the accused attempted to break the sandstone brick below him and run to freedom, though his was simply summoned...he proceeded to drown in the water below. It was a bit awkward.

Timmy and I chilling in the former site of the Augustan embassy in Gorgeview. It was a beautiful city I wish more people had seen, so I'll share some of my personal favorite photos:

the adorable theatre, and the entrance to the city.

I stumbled across the gorgeous Serenity Project one day with awearyworld, before it was so heavily griefed.

And found this mysterious Augustan flag in an unmarked home in Cunshan. I'd love to know why this was there.

Marcus winning the Augustan art competition, one of my favorite things ever on the server. Tactful's creative entry, that involved him floating in a glass box of water in a boat, is still one of my favorites.

A surprise appearance of ttk2 at the Drama Awards!

Now, the last logout.

And a fond farewell to my Bay City home. Though I only lived there for a few weeks, it was such a lovely community.

I trekked back to Augusta, swinging by a hidden gem of Augusta that many walked over but few knew existed. The remains of teamnigels home following it being sacked by Exultant and some others when he was wanted for aiding a vault breaker. It existed underneath the staircase leading to the Government Plaza.

I waved goodbye to my cramped but homey storage room

and bid a tearful farewell to the place where it all started, over a year ago. Love and miss you Mount Augusta.

On to the New World!
