So there's a lot of drama going on, I thought I might as well make a post about it.
After a very frustrating day IRL I made a mistake.
I moved a few pieces of bedrock around one night under my house in Myra to get a extra breaks out of my vault location. It was a very stupid thing to have done and I regretted it the next day, but I didn't even remember what it had been like before. I thought it was best to leave it and just never actually use it. I just kept a few tid-bits in it.
I apologise sincerely for those that feel let down by this.
I was also accused of telling Eagles where Ezziot's vault was. That is not true. The road they use for access to the vault nether portal was the one that I built and had snitched. We heard that they were building one and I saw Ryanamidon, Ace613 and other people associated with them using the road. I gave a screenshot of the snitch logs to eagles and he went to look. It wasn't exactly difficult to find if you knew they were using that road.
I would have been okay if they'd just pointed out any admin crimes that I, or anyone else had done. I'd have accepted it and left my future as a player in ttk2's hands.
Some people wondered how I even became to be an admin. Remember when all this HCF admin crime drama all started with Rattlertank? ttk2 but out a plea for help, I offered. After helping with modmail for a few months, cheaters carried on cheating and I was asked to help investigate. I did, and ever since the conclusion of the infamous gimmick brigade incident when I first got access to /tp /vanish and creative I spent far more time investigating cheaters than actually playing the game.
Like so many of us, I've put so much time into this game in one way or the other that my real life started to suffer. I got the hang of it towards the end but civcraft is incredibly addictive, so you can see why people get so involved and why over a year's worth of almost continuous drama can happen.
I think civcraft as a game has incredible potential, beyond that of minecraft itself. Wherever we go from here, it will be bigger and better. I'm not sure what role I'll play in it's future but I really, really hope it works out.
To all people I've had an issue with in game, no hard feelings, I admire most of you to sticking to your guns.
I'm not sure if I'm going to be around on the next map in any capacity, which should be a good idea since I've just bought the bar that I've been running and my workload has tripled. To all those that are playing again, wish you the best of luck.
Also a huge thanks to those that have made this game so enjoyable, I've met people I would definitely be chilling in mumble and playing games with for a very long time.
Cheers chaps.
Also, my real aim for civcraft was to introduce and promote the use of the word Bellend and spread any other britishisms wherever possible. The rest was just a game to me.
