First off, so much shit has hit the fan all across the Civtopia. Lava machines and revolutions going on, dozens of bounties popping up and the increase of players recently are really starting to make the server pretty fucking crazy. While all this is going on, im just sitting in my humble little island Banefort with Rahfiki, Mattamattress and BrownBuo building structures and clearing out our plentiful ravines, mineshafts and veins we keep finding. So far i think, me personally is doing alright after leaving Tigerstaden when there were some griefing problems and mining situations i was running into. So i packed my main supplies and asked my neighbor Rahfiki if he would like to join this epic adventure of mine that has been filled with many of events and close calls. So heres my story from the past 2 weeks. Im just going to start out with that if you wish to create a huge thriving city as a new guy, you got something coming to ya my friends. Shit like that takes money and alot of it. I left Tigerstaden with 15 iron bars and all the resources i needed to set up a home and support myself. Luckily i already had a small mine base over near Valenti if i remember correctly. The people there are very nice and trusting folk. More with that later. So I pm'ed my pal Rahfiki and was like " Hey dawg, wanna leave this place and go start a city? i have a mine far away that we can gather resources at" He agreed to travel and so we ventured to this far far away land. It was a cold long journey with only the f3 key on our side. Watching the long list of 5 numbers in the - start climbing up and up and up, i knew this would be a memory to always remember between us 2. It took a good half hour or so to make it to the top of the mine which happened to be 20 blocks down and in the side of a fairly unused ravine. I start to dig down and yelled for Rah to jump down on the block with me. Mistakes were made and Rah died as he fell off the cliff into the darkness of the ravine. I was sure that he would give up on this adventure me. I was almost heart broken for he was my only friend with Civtopia. I was alone till i decided to pm him and tell him what happened. I saved his stuff and meant him 500 blocks away with food in hand for him. We traveled back to the base and we just jumped down into the entrance and he gathered his gear and we started to grind away the stone walls in the mine. We gather roughly 300 iron ores with the help of our new comrade Mattamattress who turned out to be a very helpful ally and even friend. We dug out enough resources till we all agreed to leave the area and search for a village that Matta had seen. We tracked down 2 villages in the area. The first one was greifed badly. The homes broken into and wood all stolen. No one was around for even the farms were demolished and some homes crackled and burned to the bases. It was a sad sight for wandering journeyman like ourselves to see. We traversed onto the next village sighting. We located 4 villagers but only needed 2. They very skiddish little fucks and i accidently murdered one in cold blood in the daylight. I was pissed and worried till i found another poor bastard stuck in a ditch, so i saved him with a railcart and we began our travels with out new found friends. I would say that we traveled some 300 blocks away with them till we found a perfect location at the time in the plains biome. We set up base and began to mine the area out and start our iron farm. Within a day we had built 2 homes, a farm and vault/ storage for our town and even established a road to Vilenti? Fuck i dont know, i keep forgetting the name. Paraguay lives there. He connected us and at that moment i though we had come to our finally stop where we can build our hoping city. We started out as a small settlement and with the open arms of the neighboring city folk. We traded iron for food and resources and even seeds. We spoke to one another a made a truce pact. Spawners were shared and an iron farm was promised to be shared. We both were happy and enjoyed our neighbors. I set up a tree line to cover our buildings and structure. Dreams were starting to become a reality till we ran into a problem. Their city has chat laws and we were invading in their chat space and were asked nicely to leave. Devasted we tried to work out an agreement but we were not initially a part of the nation so we cleared our chest and locked our doors and abandoned our settlement. Rahfiki and i traveled to another far away land. It was on the warmer and quieter side. No words spoken. No one has even been around the land we came across. We though that it was a land mass with a decent size bay. We were wrong yet again. We came across an island. A extreme hills island. The resources were plentiful. Cows, sheep, chickens and pigs were everywhere to be found and even pumpkins were growing. Right then i knew we found home and we had everything we needed right there. So we set up home yet again and began gathering ores and cobblestone to pave out plots for ourselves and make roads and built a farm to live off of. Animal pens then were built and tree farms slowly were put into place and the roads expanded and expanded around a small area where most of the work was being done. a home was built to be shared and then a storage/ smelting room was built and then i created our private nether portal. We were growing slowly and slowly but thats what we want right now. This land is perfect for simple folk. No government and no political parties. Just simple guidelines and common sense. BrownBuo then entered our small town and he set up a home on the Island of Banefort under the Nation of Cyrus. A simple Temple was then built and a 6 plot farm is under construction right now but theres only so much a simple player like myself can do. So propose this, I will allow some players to enter the portal and establish a home here. We have enough land to support amazing structures that dont expand to high up for i wish to keep the beauty of the land. So Civcraft, thats been my past 2 weeks and my month total of being on this wonderful server. I would also like to say thanks to R3kon, Karst1, Rahfiki, Mattamatress, BrownBuo, Bankslyp, Spacesuit8xd, for being a group of awesome people and always Goatse because he allowed me to survive. TL;DR I had an amazing first month on Civcraft in every way you can possibly imagine and met some super awesome new friends. I found some great land and I will allow some players to enter the portal and establish a home here. We have enough land to support amazing structures that don't expand to high up for i wish to keep the beauty of the land.
