IGN: Mark_Antony

My in-game-name is Mark_Antony, some of you may know me; I am announcing my candidacy for Consul for the month of July. Currently I am serving as the Prefect of Revenna and as Senator. Over my last week in Ravenna I have been working to create and expand massive public farms to benefit the public XP supplies and with the help of Nova I have connected the farms to the main rail network. As far as builds go I have begun work on a large villa near the village in the province to serve as a functional and administrative headquarters for the PRovince. This image shows the progress to date. Additionally, I aided NovaCeasar in writing the constitution as it stands in its current form.

I stand for Consul with the wish to finish up these projects and more, including some of the following...

• I would like to help sponsor public works in the capital beginning with a Senate Building similar to this model, one worthy of the glory of an imperial capital city.

• I would like us to begin work on functional arenas to use for international events, such as games, similar to this Circus Maximus and a Colosseum, both of which would be schematica driven group projects.

• I am also planning on assisting Nova in widening the existing rail tunnels to make the majority of the lines 2-way friendly and eventually beautify the approaches of the tunnels.

I would like to author some maps that we can use for our own internal purposes, but also as advertising tools to gain new citizens and to project our legitimacy to our neighbors...

• I would like to try and create some City Maps for our capital and prefectures similar to this older map I authored.

• I would like to create some more artistic maps such as this one, illustrating our whole region including our neighbors.

• I would like to create an administrative map of our rails, Provinces, and Prefectures, Similar to this one

Generally I want to help out Langly and others increase our farming capacity to help our XP production.

And perhaps most importantly I want to work to double the number of registered citizens in Roma by the end of July.

Some of the farming and build projects will likely extend past July and into future months, especially the larger arenas, but beginning work on them in July will mean their eventual completion in the not too distant future.

Also, I want to announce here that I'm founding the Optimates political faction/party which will be open to like-minded citizens. The idea being a simple 3 point platform:

1. To keep things as "Roman" as possible, everything should have a Roman foundation, ideally as it was at the height of the Republic; from buildings, to laws and organization, Roman all the way.

2. To strengthen our independence across the board by securing economic independence through maintaining and expanding farms and territory to expand XP production; and securing our strategic interests through alliances with neighboring cities to strengthen trade and deter exterior threats.

3. To create and maintain updated maps and other documents of the S.P.Q.R. for internal use and exterior propoganda.

It would be my ambitious goal to try and put a faction-member in the Consulship every month to act as a positive influence over the state and represent the best of our interests to better the S.P.Q.R. as a whole.

So, if the people would will it, I would serve them as Consul. If the people will it not, I will retain my Prefecture in Ravenna/Capua and continue to expand the farms down there for public use and serve diligently on the Senate.
