It has come to our attention that at the time of writing this statement, Norlund is reportedly invading the IF. After just announcing our alliance, which New World Norlund is privy to, they have decided to take the drastic action of invading IF. This, understandably, might make us look bad.

Some Facts:

1. They didn’t consult the other nations of the alliance before performing such acts. As such, this is not an alliance sponsored conflict. No personnel from other allied nations participated in this conflict. It has come to light that they also failed to consult other citizens of Norlund.

1. When we discovered this, KyleKannon, one of the effective leaders of Norlund as noted in our discord, would not directly tell us what was going on and told us to ask Dama of Paradise. This appears to be a major breach of trust. Leobonet was not online to comment at this time, meaning we could not effectively get info from him either. We should not have had to ask the leader of a non-allied nation for info on what our ally was doing.

1. The FSA is committed to trying to find a diplomatic solution, with spilling blood as the last possible answer. Regardless as to whether or not they did try to find a diplomatic solution on their own or not before committing to this conflict, they did not inform us of any diplomatic efforts, and so it could appear to be diplomatic aggression. The fact that they did not ask us for help in diplomacy might say something about how they feel about our alliance.

Because of these things, we have discussed and are holding a vote to possibly remove Norlund from the alliance, lest our more peaceful allies pull out over such actions. We will punish them severely for this breach of trust and alliance principle.
