Since there is so much drama, confusion, and misinformation swirling around about this, and since the case doesn't contain many private details or exploit secrets, we are clearing the air on this case.

Twinkieminer is permabanned for the combination of the following numerous violations. These issues stacked up and repeated over time to the point where expecting future good faith or an improvement in behavior became no longer realistic. Roughly in order of severity (1,2,3 very close):

1) Using speed swimming hacks/exploits to avoid pearling, on video (there was a "debunk" but it was not tested on this server, and does not actually work the same way on this server and thus does not explain the situation. Admins are pretty confident about what was actually going on, but can't go into details here.) (Rule 6)

2) Encouragement, training, and technical assistance with Fuzzy's hacking, re: freecamming exploits (Rule 8, Rule 7 and an implied rule 6 again)

3) VPNing on a joint account shared with another player he didn't like solely to frame them and try to get them banned (Rule 9, Rule 2, and we look extremely poorly on people trying to manipulate and weaponize admins)

4) Lied to admins about other account sharings and account splits (Rule 9 / Rule 2)

5) Multiple pieces of circumstantial evidence of VPNing while banned to evade punishment. Screenshots and witnesses (in some cases admins witnessing directly) to such things as him having a "backup/plan B account" not associated to his main, routinely discussing in game activities as if fully playing while banned, etc. (Rule 2)

5) Has repeatedly lied about, downplayed, or misrepresented the reasons he is banned, making things unnecessarily difficult and wasting quite a lot of our time, even back when there were shorter and finite release dates (Rule 9)

6) Minor case of posting inappropriate content (original short discord ban)

As for the long term discord ban: Mainly this is just a consequence of all of the above serious issues coming to light and stacking on top of one another. At some point, people with long enough rap sheets are just much more likely to stir more shit by hanging around in the community in general, than they are likely to positively contribute.

In this case though, points #3,4, and 5 above are particularly relevant here: Twinkie is very likely playing as we speak, and providing an opportunity on an official platform to make that easier and more convenient to get away with is not a good idea.
