Preamble

In a global effort to provide nothing less than the chance for survival in a relatively undeveloped region of the map, Savaguard, Norlund, Anvard, Otonabee, and the Obsidian Holdings Group have come together to create the largest farm on the CivRealms server, free to use for these nations’ citizens, across the Vesa River. We hope that this act of goodwill towards the communities in this desolate yet expansive portion of the map will give new hope to populations looking to grow as citizens of these nations, depending on where across the claims they settle; we hope that this can foster further community-building projects and lead to more signs that CivRealms is a world in unity, cooperation, and harmonious coexistence.

The Vesa Accords

These accords serve as an international agreement to develop, conserve, and protect viable farmland across the Vesa River’s entirety, from the river length and its immediate perimeter.

The Vesa River is the second-largest river on the entire CivRealms map, starting at -600 X -3900 Z and ending at 2234 X -4198 Z. Four nations and one private group hold the entirety of the claims along this river; Anvard, Savaguard, Norlund, Otonabee, and the Obsidian Holdings Group (OHG) respectively. The entirety of the river’s direct perimeter will be used as farmland for the citizens of each nation within their respective claims, as well as for those without food that have settled nearby and are in need of direct aid. Crops will be planted across the entire length of the river, and new developments will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

The claims of each of these five entities will remain unchanged, and they will retain ownership of their land. The land will be tended to and overseen by representatives of each of these four nations, should they decide to do so, alongside the overall development throughout the international borders by the Obsidian Holdings Group.

The Vesa River is recognized internationally as a structure to be protected, preserved, seeded, and harvested, and re-seeded across its entirety as a show of sustainable cooperation. Each of these nations may choose to approve or build settlements within their respective claims across the length of the river as they see fit. If a nation should choose to revoke their owned claims from use as designated in the Vesa Accords, they may do so at any time.
