TCHAD COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE, EAST ISLAND, THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO

Following consultation and debate within the high courts of Tchad, Solitude, Telunos, and following a brief ratification within the West Bloemfontein Governor's Office on behalf of the semi-autonomous Tchadian territory of Bloemfontein, I am happy to announce the immediate joint claim on behalf of all Thomas Archipelago residents the lands established henceforth.

CLAIMED LANDS (see "APPENDIX A") —

The territory comprising the southern portion of the Western Island (henceforth "WEST ISLAND NATURE RESERVE"), the territory comprising the entirety of the Long Island (henceforth "THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE"), and the territory comprising the entirety of the New Island (henceforth "THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO ISLAND OBSERVATION RESERVE").

STATEMENT OF INTENDED USE —

Pursuant to the claims established in this press release, the joint governments of the Thomas Archipelago seek to preserve these lands for reasons including but not limited to the purposes established henceforth.

Due to the incredibly small size of the continent ("THE THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO"), it is understood by the joint regional governments that the construction and urban development taking place on the island will seek to deprive the land of its ability to remain in a natural state. With respect to the unique environment of the archipelago, the joint regional governments believe the establishment of the "WEST ISLAND NATURE RESERVE" as well as the "THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO ISLAND OBSERVATION RESERVE" alike are the best options available to allow some portion of the archipelago to remain in natural form, in perpetuity.

THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE —

With interest to establish continued funds to maintain and tend to the nature preserve, the joint regional governments approve the establishment of "THE THOMAS ARCHIPELAGO SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE" within the boundaries of the Long Island. This zone will be under joint management of the regional island governments and will be developed in accordance with their will.
