From the responses of my last post it would seem that a new world to master is something we should at least explore in more detail.
Is there a way to improve the simulation of individual survival?
Is there a way to improve upon "nature" and the PVE elements of the game in a way that is more life like?
Should we remove hostile mobs with the exception of wolves?
What if xp was gained differently then the way it is currently gained? What would the look like?
Should the map grow larger or smaller? Personally I think a larger is more of an ideal. I would like to see a huge customized map design that allows us to expand the border as needed.
Is there a way to speed up travel, perhaps increase the nether travel rates?
Are there some things we can change that will allow the community to better develop civilizations? The rules and plugins we have right now make it VERY hard to start and grow a community.
One Idea on the table involves making play time based on how many lives a person has. A new player would start off with about 5 lives. The longer a person plays on the server the more lives they earn.
This way they would have to survive and give a real benefit meet up and or play with others. This idea allows a real benefit for encouraging group play. Once a person earns 20 lives they can begin to share lives with others as either gifts or for trade.
Lives can be traded, earned through play time or received upon donating to support the community. This would be set up in such a way like the plex system on Eve-Online.
