Origin Realm
These changes will go live on the morning of 10/25/2013
You will see your crop harvests double from the last update. Apparently the previous update was a bit too zealous. This is not to say that in the future there will not be seasonal famines.
The Rate of return when smelting gold, and iron will be reduced by 50% like that of diamond. Expect some irregularity on certain gold and iron items.
Expect the price of gold per vaulted prison pearl to go up and adjust over time. In other words save your gold! For now it will remain as is.
The new Dominion exclusion zone is now 10 blocks making the total for the inner and outer exclusion zone 20. Until the Dominion growth is fixed I will be setting the default radius for Dominion to a 35 block radius. This will give you a diameter of 70 blocks, most starting structures and towns can fit in this area. If you need more space you can make another Dominion. This is ONLY a temp solution and we WILL give you enough notice once the problem is fixed and we revert back to normal settings.
As of the last update the /help option is not working atm. We are working on fixing it.
A help channel has been added to the chat. If you are interested in being an official player guide who helps new players with questions and moderates that channel please msg mod mail and tell us why you are a good fit for the role.
If you just want to join to help out new players that is fine too. REMEMBER: People found using this channel for any other reason then its intended purpose MUST be reported with screen shots so they can be temp banned. Make sure to give one warning before doing this.
For those of you who did not see that new world features from the 10/22/2013 update here they are:
Hunger and Health are slightly reduced upon re-spawning into the world. This prevents someone who is low on food or hunger from using suicide to get full bars.
Soul Sand falls like normal sand. After all it is still sand.
The stone in Origins realm seems to be a harder now, and breaks tools a bit faster.
The shift in gravity has changed the way trees fall. This is a more natural way to cut wood and its fun.

Crops are harder to grow. There is a loss rate of 25% This is subject to change as we introduce seasons and nature effects.
There is a 1-2% that "bad things" will happen upon killing some mobs and breaking some blocks at lower y levels or in the nether. Do not freak out here are the details.

Nausea effect on users who take fall damage or are too close to and explosion.
Falling blocks do more damage to players and mobs.
Creepers at lower y levels do more damage.
Dream Realm
- Dream Realm is meant to be a place where the rules are undefined and it feels like anything can happen.
- We are looking for ideas for the Dream Realm. If you have any ideas on how to better shape or change this realm then please chime.
Hardcore Realm (HCR)
The map is live and running if you wish to test this new map contact jpmiii or ROM in game.
We are setting up a sub-domain that links you to HCR. Please bookmark: HCR.CivRealms.com so that when it goes live you can see it.
I have been testing it, its hard. I am down to one life. :)

A new community website is underdevelopment by Craytor, Antreus and Personisreal It will be a hub for CivRealms users and members can get perks, donate, vote and meet each other.
Art Contest: We are looking for a birds eye view of your favourite cities. We ask that you use shaders mod to do this. The winners will be given a share of CivCredits and their work will be displayed on the backdrop of our splash page and website.
CivCredit is shaping up to be a great tool for trade and finance on any gaming platform. It now uses a Bit Coin Standard for its currency model, one credit is equal to one bit coin. Soon we will make it so that you can trade smaller credits amounts like .00001 of a credit. Once this is done we will be releasing a tutorial on how to set up companies and player clearing houses and banks in game.
