CivRealms Updates

• Shop Chests: There was a bug where you had to place a shop sign first before you were able to place your chest down. This has been fixed.

• View Distance: We increased the View Distance from 4 to 5 a few days ago. We've had no negative impact from it so we are going to leave it at 5 until such time when we need to lower it.

• Hoppers: They have been enabled and should be working fine with Citadel now.

• Animals Despawning: We've been having problems with animals despawning and this problem should be fixed now.

• Arthropod Egg was added to the server

  • This will allow you to receive a spawn egg from the following animals: Pigs, Sheep, Cows, Mooshrooms, Chickens, Wolves and Squids.
  • This will only work if you kill the animal with a Bane of Arthropods sword. You will receive a Spawn Egg at random from every animal that you kill. When a Spawn Egg is dropped that animal will not drop any loot (meat, wool, etc.).
  • Every level of Bane of Arthropods that your sword has will increase your chance of receiving a spawn egg by 1.5%. Having the Looting enchantment on your Bane of Arthropods sword will increase your chances an additional 1% for every Level.

  • Examples:

    Bane of Arthropods III will give you a 4.5% chance of receiving a spawn egg.

    Bane of Arthropods III Looting II will give you a 6.5% (4.5% 2%) chance of receiving a spawn egg.

The CivRealms Test Server Updates (CIVREALMS.com:25570)

All of these plugins are currently on the test server and will be added to the main server as soon as they have been thoroughly tested.

• XP Bottle Plugin - Players will be able to right click an enchantment table with bottles in their hand in order to turn them into XP Bottles. It also lets players craft 1 emerald from 9 XP Bottles and 9 XP Bottles from 1 emerald.

• CombatTag Logout - Players will have to type /logout and not move for 15 seconds in order to logout. Logging out any other way will leave an NPC behind.

• Dominion - Dominion is a plugin that gives players upgradeable controls over the land around their civilization through an expandable influence radius that is held together by the central Dominion Block. All of Dominion's features will be explained in an upcoming post.
