Accidental Democracy; Elections?
As you probably know, way back when we were still planning Petrania, /u/Cahutchins wrote the original constitution. It was a modified version of Bereza's constitution, which featured prominent mutualistic features and gave the people much more power.
I, along with the guidance of /u/Quinnel, /u/Cetracey, and /u/Blakeisblake , wrote a constitution for Petrania and fused it, creating the lovable democratically elected oilgarchy it was supposed to be. However, as Suilven reached the population for a new councilman, Samantha discovered that we were a democracy. Indeed, during one of my iterations of the constitution, I must have accidentally removed the bit allowing the council to elect new members, and from that, accidentally democratized Petrania.
This caused quite a bit of fuss with a few people in the council, whom are currently working it out. A councilman will announce either today or tomorrow whether or not they'll be amending the constitution or having an election.
So yeah. Sorry about that.
Apartments
Keep building on the cliffs, it's where you should be for now. Claim what you need, but don't take too much. After exploring, I'd like to start having people build on top of the mountain, as we have asstons of space, but it's entirely up to the council.
/u/TS2_, founded the first district inside of Suilven, the Arrackian District, an area for former Fort Arrack residents, but is open to everyone. Let me remind you that instead of just building on the cliffs, you can build your own political/economic district somewhere on the mountain(with permission from the council). You want a Leninist paradise built deep underground, or an ultra organized capitalist cliff-side marketplace? Go ahead.
Storage
I've built a new public storage facility. Yes, it's ugly, and yes, it's temporary. It can be found right across from the farms on Gravel road. Take only what you need, and give whenever possible. It's accessible through the PetraniaCitizens group, and open to members from all cities in the Confederacy.
Roads
With Samantha's smooth stone, Gawdmode's wood, and Cetracey plowing through all the shacks, I've finally managed to get an official road network going. Built mainly around the farm, but soon to be expanded all over the mountain, it's going to need a shit ton of wood and smooth stone, so please donate what you can.
