Seeing how the vote on reforming and consolidating the voting procedure in the NEA is about the close with the current results standing at two states abstaining and one objecting, I believe it is worthy to bring up this topic of discussion again, and I hope this time states who have opinions on the system that was proposed earlier would voice themselves.
I'm just going to assume that we all understand the flaws of the system we have currently, so some guiding questions - What would you like changed to the current voting system? How do you believe voting should function? What are your opinions on the previously proposed system?
I hope with this discussion, we are able to come to a more cohesive opinion, and agree on something that will be able to fix the current flaws. I hope to get a vote on a new proposal up as soon as we hear a couple of opinions (esp. from those states which chose to abstain).
EDIT: In fact, if we are able to reach a consensus before the current vote ends (which is in a little more than 12 hours), and any one of the current abstaining/objecting member decides to change their mind, then a new proposal and revote may not be necessary.
