The Free Danzilonan Republic (or FDR) is now the fourth iteration of Danzilona, a tight-knit community dating back almost 10 years now to Civcraft 1.0. We have a long, rich history and a culture of resiliency, casual playstyles, pioneering, democracy, and grand building projects. While we were most notable for New Danzilona on Civcraft 2.0, we did play on 3.0 and some of us helped found Provincia in the early days of Civclassic, but mostly went inactive thereafter and haven't founded an official iteration since. Now, after some months of planning, we're finally back, with many of the same names some of the older players might still recognise.

A more detailed recruitment post will come later on after we get settled on the server, but here are some highlights for what makes us unique:

• Our general aesthetic from 2.0 will be making a comeback, as well as a new addition to our infrastructure: the safe and secure Danzshaft.

• Popular participation in government is a core value of Danzilonan political culture and always has been. We have no legislature but rather all laws are decided on by public discussion and direct democratic vote. You can read our constitution here.

• The executive governmental positions we do have are, in my opinion, uniquely suited for the problems faced by nations and offer a wide range of interesting powers. If you like diplomacy, census-taking, exploring, vault-building, or PVP, we have something for you!

• With most of us having played 7-8 years ago, our playerbase is experienced, casual, and pretty much drama-free.

• International cooperation and alliance-making is in our blood, dating back to the founding of the U3P. We will be exploring and reaching out to many of our neighbours to establish friendly relations in the same manner.

• Minecraft hockey was a Danzilonan invention that made for a very fun and popular pastime back on 2.0. While a full league probably won't be making a comeback, hockey games and arenas will be. Drop by and we'll teach you how to play!
