On June 4th, 2023, Icarans Zolo and Jaimie left their nation to track, fight, and hopefully help pearl Ez2Clutch--a player who was still very much wanted by both the SEC and the EP over their involvement in the Generic War. These two players would be pearled and, astoundingly, spiked in the Butternut vault by not the aforementioned Ez, but ChosenTwice as well.

No matter what lies Butternut and Ellie spread about why the war started, the principal reason for the SEC was this act combined with the fact that two raiders had unmitigated access to a vault directly on Icenia's border and were hell-bent on not just raiding Icenian players, but storing their pearls as well in what can be considered one of the better vaults on the server.

So we went to war.

Since then, Icenia, the SEC, and the Fourth Estate have managed to survive the onslaught despite the liars and freaks who wish for nothing more for one of the largest and oldest communities on this server saying we've been "kicked out of our city", and "deserve to be killed off".

These people cannot be forgiven. The naysayers can, however. The SEC has lost 25 players to Butternut. Many of these players have not experienced a real Civ war before. Many of them fell fighting valiantly to defend the SEC's native soil. However, Icenia's mainline military force remains unbothered on this Wednesday, and the tides of war are slowly turning in our favor after a month of long, hard conflict and setbacks.

Icenia, the SEC, and her allies will continue fighting until this war is won. Justice will prevail over misguided attempts at destroying neighbors in the -,-. Until that moment, however, SEC fighters and our allies will continue to sing this song:
