Last night, the following chain of events happened in Icenia.

• Bewsiej and Elithys began pinging snitches on Icenia's Southern iceroad.
  -This iceroad shares several intersections with Butternut iceroads which have previously been discussed and a non-issue for months. As such, we initially thought nothing of these pings.
• The Icenian government became more concerned as the snitch pings continued north, towards the city.
  -This iceroad has been a "low priority" given our focus on other projects/the drama in the -,- so, admittedly, is not as segmented as it should be.
• We began to notice that they only pinged each snitch once, which is odd given there should have been pings of them returning back down the iceroad.
• Upon investigating we found at least 60 snitches had been broken. These were SRO, so do the math. With two people, that's about 25 breaks per person (so 25 seconds per snitch break)...so you could break 60 snitches in about 25 minutes. [Proof:](https://imgur.com/a/awfJvX5)

• Icenian leadership decided to reach out to Elithys to figure out what was going on.
  -Elithys would outright deny breaking these snitches and claimed they were running around in their own iceroads despite them being the last hit and the following screenshots of the broken snitches on the ground beside the iceroad.

• At this point, due to what we saw as flagrant tomfoolery going on, . We were, understandably, "pissed off".
  -So it was communicated to Butternut leadership that they were not welcomed, at the moment, in Icenian land.

Icenia [has had](https://imgur.com/a/iGfW2qD), and wishes to have, positive relations with our neighbors in Butternut. Just a few months ago, we negotiated split ownership over a southern portal which had been passed onto them when Fellowship decided to link up with em' .

While the aforementioned BewsiJ statue has not gone up due to the recent and constant drama in the -,-, internal Icenian politics, and IRL stuff, I think that breaking 60 snitches in an iceroad is a bit wild, and I, generally speaking, am growing exhausted with the excuse "we were drunk" to excuse shenanigans.

I say this as someone who plays blitzed early and often. Drunken shenanigans are best conducted with consent from both parties, or when the shenanigans are so low tier that they don't really matter. Theres a reason I make sure my roommate, for example, does not end up pissing on the floor of the bar on our Saint Patricks Day pub crawl. It's because the bar didn't sign up for cleaning up his piss (and it's personally embarrassing). The same thing applies here. Stealing an X from Jah Park, whatever, put it in your museum. Breaking a ton of iceroad snitches? Not cool. There's a pretty clear difference.

Here's what Icenia wants:

• For our snitches not to be busted up for the sake of shenanigans.
• For Butternut to chill out and just, not enter our iceroads.
• For Butternut (Bewsi and Ellie) to not enter our claims for a bit just so we can turn down whatever "temperature increase" this event caused.
  

Icenia has tried, hard, to negotiate in good faith with just about everyone this iteration, so much so that we never entered the Generic War until we were incapable of fighting out of our own claims. We would hope that other nations would extend this same grace to us, in this case Butternut, regardless of a delayed statue.

Please don't take this post as a "hostile" intentions post or whatever, I truly think Bewsi and Eli were just plastered. Still, Icenia is tired of shenanigans right now and weekly drama. We want to do our thing for a bit, recruit new players, and enjoy the game.
