Towards a Brighter Future for Anatolia and the Caucasus – Introducing the Anatolian-Caucasian Aristocratic Brotherhood
Post Body

Preamble: The Anatolian-Caucasian Aristocratic Brotherhood was founded on two principles: that of a common bond of mutual respect and shared heritage between all peoples and nations of Anatolia and the Caucasus, and that of a natural order where an elite few rule and the unwashed masses follow. We are a pan-Anatolian-Caucasian socio-political movement seeking to see the peoples of Anatolia and the Caucasus brought closer together in peace, prosperity, and stability under the wise and prudent rule of a pan-Anatolian-Caucasian class of hereditary nobility. We are not a political party or partisan bloc in any one realm, although we may endorse or cooperate with national parties and blocs which share our vision of the peoples of Anatolia and the Caucasus brought closer together under the wise and prudent rule of a hereditary aristocracy.

Our Platform:

  • We support the establishment of a legally-privileged and constitutionally-entrenched class of hereditary nobility throughout all nations if Anatolia and the Caucasus. This aristocratic class shall provide prudent stewardship over the estates and land entrusted to them, and the peasants and other commoners living and working on that land will be relieved from the burden of having to manage and organize their own affairs.

  • We support forms of government which place effective executive, legislative, and judicial power in the hands of the aristocracy, as those are the only people who posses the wisdom, education, and divine right to lead our country into stability and prosperity are able to effectively do so. We likewise oppose forms of government which grant political power to mobs and rabbles of unwashed, uneducated, uncultured commoners, as their ineffectual, squabbling, and short-sighted misrule would surely lead to oblivion.

  • We support the promotion of fluency in the major languages of the peoples of the Anatolia and the Caucasus, including Trebizond's and Constantinople's Greek, the Ottomans' Ottoman Turkish, Persian, and Arabic, and Armenia's Armenian and Aramaic.

  • We support efforts to create and nurture a diverse yet unified pan-Anatolian-Caucasian cultural identity, allowing all denizens of Anatolia and the Caucasus to experience the best of what each of their neighbouring cultures has to offer. To this end we support free trade, immigration, intermarriage, and travel between the nations of Anatolia and the Caucasus, as well as artistic and scholarly endeavours that bring talents, traditions, knowledge, and experiences from multiple Anatolian and Caucasian cultures together.

  • We support the creation of pan-Anatolian-Caucasian institutions to further the cause of political, cultural, and economic integration of the nations of Anatolia and the Caucasus, and we also support cooperation and collaboration between individual realms of Anatolia and the Caucasus in matters of mutual interest and benefit.

  • We oppose the meddling of foreign powers in the affairs of Anatolia and the Caucasus, and we support strong and unified diplomatic and military measures to keep them in their place. Special attention should be paid to the perfidious Genoese colonizers who have absolutely no place encroaching on our turf.

  • We oppose needless infighting and strife between the brotherly peoples of Anatolia and the Caucasus. Such acts on serve to weaken us and will lead us into a path of instability, poverty, and destruction.
