In his great piety and wisdom, His Holiness the Pope has announced a Crusade for Granada. We, King Charles IV of Arles, Aragon, and Bohemia, urge all good Christian princes, lords, knights, and soldiers to make their way to Spain, to join the Crusading Force for Granada under the command of the able monarchs of Castile, King John III and Queen Isabella I.

Furthermore, in recognition of the threat that the Mamluk warfleets pose to Christian ports, cities, and ships in the Mediterranean, we, King Charles IV of Arles, Aragon, and Bohemia, hereby announce the creation of the Second Holy League, to counter the Mamluk menace at sea. We urge all good Christian sailors, marines, captains, and admirals to make their way to Naples, to join the Grand Fleet of the Holy League under the command of ourselves and our trusty lord admirals.
