It is my great pride and joy to announce the betrothal of my lovely daughter, Princess Isabelle of Lorraine and Bar, to the noble Electoral Prince Rupert II of the Palatinate, son of my good friend and noble ally, Elector Rupert I of the Palatinate.

May the betrothed enjoy a joyous and bountiful marriage upon their majorities, and may peace and prosperity be known to both our fair Duchies of Lorraine and Bar, and to the great lands and people of the Electorate of the Palatinate!
