Because Eastern Orthodoxy is the superior form of Chalcedonian Christianity, the Eastern Orthodox Eastern Roman Empire controls the ancient holy sites of Antioch and the Levant.

In recognition of the special sacral character of these lands, and because we now have an Ecumenical Patriarch after a short interregnum, those holy lands will henceforth by removed from the direct administration of their previous Prefectures, and be placed under the direct administration of the Ecumenical Patriarchate. Also some other cities will be re-juggled between the civil Prefectures, but by far and by large they will remain in control of the same regions they've controlled since time immemorial.
