As the Japanese Empire is currently in a state of civil war, against the rebel scum calling themselves the DPRJ, an unstable government is a thoroughly unacceptable state of affairs.

Therefore, Emperor Hajimari, in his infinite wisdom, has decreed that the Lord Daimyō Shiba no Taneie the Just, the most notable supporter of rightful Imperial rule in the ongoing crisis, shall be appointed to the office of Kampaku, or vicegerent and chief minister to the Emperor. In addition, Emperor Hajimari, in consultation with the newly promoted His Serene Highness Daimyō Shiba no Taneie the Just, Kampaku of the Heavenly Empire of Japan, has appointed the Lord Daimyō Nagato Meiji to the recently vacated office of Shogun, or Commander-in-Chief Against the Barbarians.

With such a loyal and competent cadre of new advisors and officials, Emperor Hajimari will now most assuredly trample over the treacherous DPRJ, and their barbaric Mongolian benefactors too.
