People of Qin, hear me!

For many centuries, we have held to our traditions! For many centuries, we’ve maintained our nation! For many centuries, we have listened to the wisdom of the Ascended Fathers, as transcribed on the bones in the flames. But now, we have found a new prophecy – we have been warned of a dark future.

We have been poisoned. We are strong, so those who plot against us are schemey, manipulative foes, who will stoop to lower and lower means to defeat us. They have begun to use the basest of tactics – to beguile our loyal men to act against us. They turn our men into traitors, make them think they are doing right when they are commit heinous crime! Treason! This should not be allowed to stand!

In the past, we have been open! My empire has been strong – the Chinese Soldier has been mightier than any other, and our armies have formed an iron border! The Chinese culture is stronger than any other, representing ten thousand years of tradition and piety, honor and art. Chinese science is beyond all others – we have built factories in our great cities, and made four great inventions of Chemistry, Printing Press, Astronomy, and Gunpowder!

But we must be strong enough to draw out the poison that our foes put in our hearts! We must draw it out and destroy it, for all the world to see!

The age of Qin is over, for it was an age of weakness! It was an age where we saw China go from the shining glory of the past into a present plagued with war and treachery within! We must make all men who join us into the Chinese, so that they can share in the glory! We must reject all traitorous thoughts, for they will be our downfall! We must oust the traitors who work against us, even if they do not know it. The age of Qin is over, and the age of Han is become!

People of Han, hear me! I am your Empress, Han Li Mei! My son, Han Jun Si, will be your Emperor! I will lead you to a new and shining future, where all of us our Chinese, and all of us may prosper as the Ascended Fathers once did! Rally behind me, and I will give you ten thousand riches! Oust the traitors, and we will find a Golden Time with no end! Strengthen yourselves, for the world will know no greater nation!
