As some of you may know, Yagils our esteemed Director of Zones has taken a leave of absence from Haven proper to work on some separate projects. She has therefore been appointed to the position of Haven's Ambassador Abroad and will therefore will remain on the Board in an advisory role but will continue to represent Haven in far off lands.
We have had another resignation recently from the Board, Dydomite, our Director of Agriculture, because he's a sod.
Thus we have two Board positions open as of now.
Director of Zones (aka the Yagils Directorship).
Director of Agriculture
Both are fairly self explanatory in regards to responsibilities but here are the official job descriptions:
Director of Zones: This director is in charge of overseeing and approving major building projects in haven. They are tasked with making sure builds do not infringe upon each other and is the director who will deal with all land disputes. They are also responsible for keeping Haven clean and tidy, maintaining city-owned buildings, managing abandoned property and inter-city transportation. Major building projects must be approved by the Director of Zones to ensure no property infringement and may otherwise be taken down.
Director of Agriculture: Maintains the farms and keeps track of which crops are "in season" (Aka which ones are best to use with FactoryMod and RealisticBiomes).
Generic Director Abilities: 路 Ability to delegate tasks and titles to Haven citizens for the purpose of a specific duty. For example, foremen and groundskeepers.
路 Acceptance of donations to deposit into the Haven treasury.
路 Use of Haven treasury resources. In the case of a large use of resources, the Director should present their proposed usage and be approved by other board members before-hand.
路 Every major decision in a Director鈥檚 field of expertise should be proposed and approved by the other directors, taking feedback into account.
路 After any major decision within their field of expertise, Directors should notify the board of the action, but do not require approval to go ahead. The board as a whole can choose to overrule said decision once they have a chance to review the information and/or provide constructive feedback.
路 No director has power over another's jurisdiction, with the exception of the CEO.
The only requirements (other than those that come with the job description) are:
Must read and agree to follow Haven's Charter in all situations and be dedicated to the Great Neutrality.
Must be able to handle difficult, potentially volatile, and stressful situations without devolving to the leadership level of a U.S. Congressperson in an action movie level.
Be able to be online a decent amount of time a week.
Perks:
Be a part of one of the oldest, most respected, and loved institutions on Civcraft.
