Hey guys, just wanted to make a quick post and confirm yes we are going to launch tomorrow. I have decided to migrate to new hardware that is almost twice as powerful as our current hardware. However, I am still finishing launch preparations and if I encounter issues migrating, we will stay on our current hardware for the first day. For that reason we are planning to launch at 5 p.m. EST. An IP address will be posted at that time.
We have a custom resourcepack for CivEx, that you can download here This pack REQUIRES that you have Optifine installed in order for it to work! This pack only modifies CivEx's custom items, and you can have whatever textures you want underneath it simply by placing this pack above a different pack.
Around half of our 100 alchemy items are untextured. If you would like to submit textures for these items, please contact me over Discord or Reddit. It would be greatly appreciated!

A note on mobs:
Mobs on CivEx are dangerous. I recommend being extra careful with the mobs, even if you have armor. If you do not have armor, I recommend you avoid mobs entirely. I would not recommend fighting boss monsters, such as the Unhinged Foreman, the Elder Warlock, and the Thrall Overseer, until you have prot 4 diamond gear or better. I recommend taking them on with at least three players. Their fights are rewarding however, and I think players will enjoy finding and slaying them.
Mobs cannot spawn within 24 blocks of a player, or further than 90 blocks away.
Mob spawning is based on number of players, so having multiple players in the same area will increase the spawn rates of rarer mobs.
There is a mob cap of 2 mobs per chunk. This will be lowered if it causes problems. If you want to farm mobs for their drops, you should try to kill them quickly so more can spawn.
There are a few mobs who still have bugged damage values. If you find a common mob is hitting you for like 8 hearts, please send in a modmail so I can fix it.
MythicMobs is going to be hotfixed a lot over the first few days. I will be paying close attention to feedback.
Expectations
I'm in the final stretch of launch preparations for tomorrow. We will be finishing mob spawns and mob drop tables tonight.
I'm going to do as much work on potion recipes as I can, but what will likely happen is that debuffs will not be ready for launch. Alchemy is complicated, and coming up with a good sample recipe that both works and is relatively accessible is difficult. Health potions already work, and I'll do my best to have everything else in by tomorrow. This means that a potion recipes post probably won't come out until late tonight or early tomorrow.
If I have time tonight I will attempt to migrate to the better hardware, but in the event that proves difficult we will use the current hardware until I can get it ready. A patreon will be coming over the next couple weeks.
I also don't have time to setup the essence gain plugin and get it to work with my recipes. This will probably come within the week. If players deem it absolutely imperative that they have access to pearl fuel, we will change the recipe to make it accessible.
If there are no mobs spawning after a restart, kindly remind an admin that they may need to type /mm reload. This is a known bug.

A few enchantments have been disabled for launch due to serious bugs or exploits. These enchantments have been crossed out on their respective posts to indicate that they are currently unobtainable.

I am intending to set a playercap of 100. If the TPS is forgiving we can consider raising it.
If someone can get me a copy of the queue plugin in the next 16 hours I'll install that, otherwise we will just use a 1 minute deathban to rotate players out.
