Person A: The server is way too fucking hard because food is fucked and allegiance is fucked and deathbans are fucked and everything is fucked.
Person B: Everything is fine this is how civcraft servers have always been ITS REALISTIC and anyone who wants to play is going to eventually get the allegiance requirements and food will fix itself just join a nation.
Then..... Person C: Food needs to be fixed because saturation is broken and requires multiple pieces of food to regenerate 1 heart, food takes 8-12 hours on average to grow which means the normal player will never be able to farm for food, and farms will have to be absolutely massive to feed an entire nation which will be too hard to maintain as someone else who gains allegiance could simply go and grief a farm in that time. In addition, it takes about 200 blocks of wheat farms to feed one person for one 5 hour session of Minecraft, meaning that for a nation of 10 people for say, thousands of blocks of farms would have to be dedicated. Also, allegiance is broken because players are not told the requirements for time nor blocks in any category of gaining allegiance. This in theory drives away the griefers and raiders, but in reality it just frustrates the average, casual players who want to get on with the game and have the ability to defend themselves and their claims. Most casual trouble-makers would be driven off by a daunting list of tasks anyways, and any who persisted through the tasks were clearly so driven that they would have farmed allegiant the current way it is anyways, meaning it is only a disadvantage to the casual players who aren't going to sit down and invest weeks into farming allegiant just to protect their own stuff. Also, there is no reason for a deathban of one minute after natural deaths. It makes sense to ban someone after death to another player due to, for instance, a war where individuals are killed, but why are we punished for starving to death in a world without food? Finally, a queue should probably be added due to the server capping out during the busy hours, and having many players be stuck out of the server fighting over who can spam the join button faster. All of these things culminate in inconveniences to the casual players which will be driven away from the server if conditions do not change.
