Few quick questions before launch.

Just trying to get a few things clarified before I run around trying to find a nice place to hermit for a few days. Couldn't find the answer to any of these questions on the wiki, but feel free to point me in the right direction if I'm not doing a good job of looking.
Map size? (Or will this not be available until someone posts a map, as there is no public map.)
Factories? I see the use of hidden ore will be a thing. But will factories be involved as well.
