As of April 9th, the Aytos Federal Parliament has been dissolved by passage of a Citizens' Initiative of No Confidence.

The valid poll of the October 2014 election was eleven voters, therefore 6 voters are needed to pass the initiative. As of April 9, MadeofMeat, MtnDewey, Cheifjames, Comped, MrFishteh3rd, and The_Torche, all Aytos citizens, have signed the initiative. By law, new elections must be held by the 19th, and the Ministry of Interior believes the 18th-19th is the best time within this window since it is a weekend.

There will be two ballots: a national ballot with parties, and a local city ballot with individual candidates. It is highly recommended that all candidates run on both ballots.

To run on the national ballot, you must join or create a party. To create a party, post in this thread your name, your party's name, and an ordered list of the party's candidates.

Karst1

Good Old Ancaps of Tigerstaden (GOAT Party)

1st Karst1, 2nd Dr_Oracle, 3rd SLOAN80

To run as a candidate on the local ballot, post in this thread your name, and what party you are a member of.

Example:

Karst1, GOAT party

So in the example, it would be recommended for Karst1 to make both of those posts so voters would be able to both vote for his party and vote for him as an individual candidate.

CHANGE IN POLICY:

All candidates featured on party lists will automatically be placed on the local City of Aytos ballot. (In the unlikely event that a candidate appears on two party lists, they will be asked to clarify their most preferred party).

If you have never voted before, please consult this helpful guide published by the Aytos Ministry of Interior. If you have lived in Aytos for two weeks, you may be eligible to receive citizenship in time for this election.
