How to get on the ballot

To have a party placed on the national ballot, make a post in this thread specifying the party name, party leader, and an ordered list of candidates (the first candidate listed will have highest priority). You may also link to a page or post with information on your party's platform or goals.

To run as an individual candidate in the City of Aytos local election, you must be on a party list, and you must make a separate post saying that you want to be placed on the City of Aytos ballot. If you are on the list for more than one party, you must declare which party you prefer to associate with. If you want to run but you aren't on any party list yet, you should create a new party and put yourself on its candidate list.

Citizenship in the Republic will be granted by the Interior Ministry upon application. An "application for citizenship" form will be made available this weekend at the same time as the election ballots.

All citizens of the Aytian Federal Republic may vote on the national ballot. The City of Aytos ballot, however, is limited to citizens who are also residents of the City of Aytos (the main Aytos island or the immigrant isles). If a citizen does not have residency in the City of Aytos, but lives in an outlying unincorporated territory (such as Mine-Koping for example), they will only be eligible to vote on the national ballot.
