you can read more about it here written by Jiang Qing, which, amazingly, is a mainland Chinese who is proposing to remove Maoism with a new type of Confucianism adapted to the current way of life and modern society, and yet still retains the most traditional aspects of Confucianism.
I might be not as hostile as this person is towards western liberal democracy, but I do concede about many of the shortcomings of democracy based on pure rights rather than responsibility. This guy basically turned stakeholders not just by the individuals but also to the communities, in a particularly unique Confucian way. In other papers, he discussed about splitting the Legislacy into three houses, the popular Yuan, the Cultural Yuan, and the Sacred Exemplary Person/Religious Yuan, you can read more about it this here.
I might be inclined to build a colony based upon these principals, as well as being the bastion for East Asian cultures, traditions, and languages in CivCraft.
