Let's reconcile, a new chapter for Aytos
Post Body

I admit, the last 2 weeks haven't been exactly the time where we act like the decent persons we could be. Shitposts abounded, many accusations, mostly bullshit, were thrown wildly from all sides (how many were there? I lost count). But now that all is over and done, it's time to reconcile. Between the recent immigrants and the locals, between the parties within our political system, of all adversaries that are now Aytians.

It is in great regret that some of the immigrants that came had made the move to go into politics before they had introduced and worked themselves into the Aytian society. This obviously upset the natives who have been working and living in Aytos for all purpose and reason, and fueled anger, in the most exaggerated unnecessary form as well. I as a local, may be speaking for other locals or not, but I expect the new Aytians will now contribute as well to the local economy and social life, and make up for the lost time and opportunity that we had due to obvious reasons, whether political or otherwise. I don't expect a formal apology for this lack of good gesture, but I seriously want to see many of good gestures made to the locals and the society as a whole from now on and to the end of the current map, eventually.

Reconciliation may be hard, many of us are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, and for me, on an opposite side of the globe as well as culture. We may not be able to speak on the same platform of ideals, but as in the real world, it is never the ideals, the extremes, that propels the world forward, it's compromise, it's the exchange of ideas, to finally meet that equilibrium, a state of balance, where all can work and live together comfortably and safely.

And my closing words will be from me in the capacity as a Judge and a protector of the Law. The law is here so that everyone can live in peace, and ensures that offenders will always face the consequences of their actions. Let us all who work in the enforcement of law cooperate together to make the life of Aytians the safest in CivCraft's history, this may be a daring, and perhaps futile, endeavor, but it is nevertheless, a worthy endeavor. And a message for bounty hunters as well, if you have a proper bounty to be had, please inform the respective authorities when you are about to take a course of action. I assume you guys have a proper ethical code regarding this, and I expect you guys will only pursue valid bounties, but nevertheless a gesture to inform is regarded as a cooperativeness, a sense that is regrettably lacking in our society right now.

So that closes my humble speech, and may Aytos be blessed with fruitful harvests and bustling trades.

TL;DR gestures are important, please reconcile and act like decent human beings from now on.
