Hey folks!
Chances are you are here because you've seen the chests lining the sidewalks of the street near the main Factory Building in the Capital City.
They're there to create a space for trade in the absence of the trade & transit hub that will be shopside.
If you want to claim one of the chests to establish a shop, then go right ahead. You don't need to ask me first.
However, if you do establish a shop, you agree to be subject to the following rules:
First come, first serve. A plot won't be held for you.
If you claim a shop plot,
a. create an exchange immediately,
b. and please put your Commonwealth Discord, reddit id, or In-Game username on one of the signs on your shop.
If you have claimed a shop plot, but have not established an exchange to trade any items, then the shop plot will be given to whomever is waiting in line for one.
Your lease is free and weekly. I'll check if you're still using the shop chest every two weeks.
a. If you are still using and maintaining your shop chest, carry on.
b. If not, any lingering items you have in the chest will be moved to a storage locker where you can redeem your items later.
i. Furthermore, the chest space will be freed up for use by another vendor.
You may claim more than one shop plot, as long as they are under use
There's no insurance. You are liable for any risk of loss pertaining to your shop(s), however:
a. You are allowed to place a snitch directly underneath your shop chest
- If you don't have access to the groups that the block underneath your shop plot is reinforced under, you may break a half slab and place a personal snitch underneath
You may decorate the space around your shop stall, as long as:
a. You do not edit the existing blocks that have been placed around the shop chests, and
b. You do not block traffic on road ways:
i. For Reference: roadways are built using stone brick half slabs. Sidewalks are built using regular stone half slabs.
These rules are subject to change at any time. There will be a post in this thread if a rule is ever changed.
