Advertising, and What We Can Do to Attract Citizens
Post Body

Commonwealth is not dead, nor is it dieing. However, I think most people may have noticed that Commonwealth is a lot less active than it used to be. Its getting better slowly, much better than 2 or 3 months ago, but there is still hardly any people in chat or newfriends in the city.

That is why I suggest we advertise. If someone would like to volunteer who has photoshop, could they make a few posters and PM them to me? If nobody comes forward I can use paint, but that won't turn out anywhere near as good. I am also going to post an ad on civcraftexchange to see if anyone is willing to make a few posters for some diamonds. If it seems like people are against this idea, I will tell them I will not ask for the poster-maker's services anymore.

There are a few other things that I think are vital to reviving the city a bit, from the most to least important:

  • Revive Shopside; we need someone who is active and willing to take it over

  • Finish the Canal project

  • Inter-borough subway system (working on that at the moment)

  • Give people more things to do outside of their personal projects that help the city. Such as beautifying their boroughs, improving security, etc.

Any other ideas? What do you think?
