In the next election, I would like to run for Minister of Finance. I think we need someone to manage the taxes and donations we collect from recruits and citizens.
My plans include:
-Proper allocation of taxes and donations among the different ministries.
-Placing chests outside of every lot where citizens and recruits can donate goods to the city. Using a secured method of transfer, citizens and recruits can feel assured that their items are being used for government use. Our current system is a "free for all." For example, if I harvest wheat and put my 15% in a chest, any other citizen can then go in and take that wheat for their own use without having to pay the same tax I did.
-Citizen Trade Centers - For items that the city desperately needs, trade centers will be set up where citizens and recruits can sell their items to us in exchange for diamonds, tools, etc. For example, we need a lot of XP for our arsenal. We can put market boxes up that will allow recruits and citizens to sell the wheat they harvest to the city (taxes included) for diamonds/etc.
