This announcement is designed to clear the air about exactly what the protocol is for farming now.

Citizen Farming Regulations:
All citizens are permitted to run the farms for their own personal gain as long as they replant
All personal farming done by citizens is subject to a 15% city tax
All citizens are always permitted to farm for the benefit of the city (yes that means up to 100% of the harvest)
All wheat farmed by citizens (personal or not) cannot be used to make bread (please eat baked potatoes)
Recruit Farming Regulations:
All recruits are expected to help with ongoing city projects, part of this is running the farms on behalf of the city
Recruits are permitted to run the farms for personal gain as long as they replant
All personal farming done by recruits is subject to 50% city tax
All wheat farmed by recruits (personal or not) cannot be used to make bread (please eat baked potatoes)
All recruits are always permitted (encouraged) to farm for the benefit of the city (yes that means up to 100% of the harvest)
