Over the next few weeks I'm going to be making efforts to revitalize this subreddit.

Part of what I plan on doing will involve making a Civball guide, somewhat similar to this one put together by /u/RogueX7. This is to help ensure a every civball has a somewhat similar format. As far as the comics themselves go, the Polandball tutorial can be used for most cases. You can also find drawing tutorials and suggestions on the polandball subreddit to help you become the best civballer you can be.

Let it be noted, I am not trying to be an uber-mod like the guys over at polandball. What I am trying to do, however, is help ensure that certain rules are followed, or at least used as a basic guide. Before you say, "but muh artistic freedoms!", I would ask you take a look at the polandball community. Despite the huge increase in traffic they have seen in the last year, the overall quality of the content hasn't degraded. Why? Because of strict rules and very stingy mods.

I like making these just as much as you all do, and I realize that the amount of comics released is often proportional to the amount of drama going on on /r/civcraft, and that many of the comics are often released there instead of here. What I would like to happen is for the comics to be released here first, and then on /r/civcraft if they are approved. I understand there is no feasible way of me enforcing this on my own, barring some sort of deal with TTK2, which would seem to be going a step to far.

"Hey ttk could you remove this post, it wasn't approved by me."

I don't want that to have to happen. What I suggest, is if you guys as a community see a comic on /r/civcraft that hasn't been posted here, simply leave a comment telling or reminding to the person to post it here first.
