First government:

Because your not going to be on every second of the day I suggest you make some reasonable delegations of authority /u/FriedrichHayek. Things like giving someone the authority to assign plots for one. I'd also like to propose setting up a formal list of projects that need done.

As to that list here is some examples:

  • Overhaul shopping. Can we maybe set up a mall by the railway station? Rent space for chests individually maybe?
  • Speaking of the rail station I'd like to set up a minecart elevator. We could prevent people stealing the cart by using bastions to make the only way out of the room with the cart using it. AKA have a small drop into the room with bastions preventing climbing out.
  • Fixing the canals. Water flowing down is just silly and kills horses.
  • Building a gold farm. I think /u/doymand is working on this but he could probably use a hand digging the pit.

I'd like to be able to have such a official list in hand before we start advertising. I'd also propose formally delegating authority over some of these projects to someone.

Still on government what did you think of my conversion of the charter to the wiki? Is it good enough to replace the Google doc. Can we also change the sidebar to include it and maybe some kind of getting started guide.

As far as advertising I propose we aim to post something tomorrow if at all possible. Just a hey we're alive kinda post linking to the constitution and other recent activity on the sub.
