but I still wanted to check on how you mortals are faring in the lands of CivCraft. How is everyone?

I've been good. I didn't want to absolutely disappear, so I'll give you a life update, skip if you'd like:

Working tons, bored out of my mind on my days off (usually play Dragon Age or just try and make plans with friends), cleaned up my act and my room, drinking more water, NORMAL SLEEP SCHEDULE (holy shit I am finally well rested for once), and a bunch of other stuff.

But you know the really dumb thing? I'm actually at the point where I don't care about Civcraft at all. Which is massive, honestly. I used to care so much and it ate up tons of my time and energy. It used to stress me out and I'd be constantly worried someone was gonna steal my stuff or grief my builds.

It's kind of nice to not feel like shit anymore because of a Minecraft server. I kicked the habit and it feels great.

But I guess I never really told anyone why I really quit, but here it is. I let a dumb video game fuck me up and one day I said, "nah, something has to change" and it did and I am better.

I just wanted to say that everyone in Aeon never gave me grief for anything. You never harassed me or made fun of me. I want to thank you for that. (A special thanks to Ds. [You know why.]) I only really ever stayed because of you guys. Because I enjoyed the conversations and the friendships and all that sappy shit. You know the drill.

CivCraft has helped me through some things mainly because of the people I met through it, but in the end it became really bad for me.
