As noted in this post, I believe that certain historic sites around Aeon deserve special consideration in our current efforts to revitalize the city. These are builds that have some particular significance in the city's development, and they serve as a reminder of our roots.
Aeon is over a year old, which is a pretty significant chunk of time relative to a person's lifespan. This is an even more significant timeframe when one considers that much of minecraft's development revolves around saliency and periodic world updates.
To better secure our city's historic landmarks, I am establishing the Aeon Historical Society. This group will be composed of volunteers willing to devote time and resources to repairing and maintaining certain sites around the city. If you'd like to help, let me know. Donations to city assets are probably the most hands-off way that you can aid the cause.
Some of our current landmarks are in a sad state of disrepair, so any help is appreciated!
