I would like to announce my formal resignation from the City Operations Council Position.

Honestly it is all of this shit that I am getting from every angle about what I do here. I get accused of being corrupt and selfish and power hungry.

I have never been selfish, I have given out plots unbiased to everyone in this city, I opened up all three of my towers for citizens to have a free apartment downtown while others wanted to charge for a flat or land. I have always made sure that the rules I enact benefit the mass majority, and sometimes that means individual freedoms go away. But if I said to you that you can only have one apple so that your neighbor can also have an apple and not starve, wouldn't you want that?

I have no idea how I can be seen as Power hungry. I created this type of government to put the power in the peoples hands, so that you all would have more power than any member of the council. I even set it up so that the people have more power than the entire council combined. Any one of the laws I make or have made can be appealed by any two members of Aeon. I have always looked out for what is the best option for everyone. I have only taken one additional plot since becoming a Counselor and that was four months ago. I have no Idea what I did to seem like I am trying to grab power.

Finally the corruption, which pisses me off the most because I was accused of being corrupt by the shiftiest citizen we have. I have never broken a law, I have never violated someones property and I have always been more than fair with all of the plots that I have given out. I try and make every part of this city a place that everyone wants to live, I have tried to make it open and friendly and I have always given people the benefit of the doubt. I have never taken anything for myself, and i have built everything or everyone else without complaint and without any kind of payment. And I was always happy to do it, because what I always wanted was everyone to feel like they belonged to something great. I wanted everyone to feel like they had a place that they could really call home, and that they could be proud of. I wanted the rich and the poor to feel like equals. I wanted Aeon to just be a place that everyone felt comfortable and relaxed.
