OK so about 40 alts later I have finally hit my first 50. Gatling Gal, my AR/Fire Blaster split time between pugs and AE, did a lot of auctioneering, and mulling around the university but she's finally achieved level 50!
I have no desire to make an extensive IO build for this toon, but I'm glad I've finally been able to find the resolve to push her to the level cap.
Now to work on the next one!
I mean, I'm not defending the term, necessarily; but that's where it came from. It's not unique to CoH or even MMOs - it's just an old gaming term. Even in old single-player games, people would 'roll up' a new save file, even if there were no random elements to the start.
