With the influx in transactional posts, I've made some things a little easier for merchants! Anyone is free to use these tools, even if you are just selling an old spoon you don't want anymore.

The post flairs have been slightly simplified. In fact, you might not notice any difference. The For Sale flair should be used if you are, in fact, selling your old spoon, or even if you are opening your shop for the day. A stickied comment is added to the post with a link to the payment terminal, so you can swipe swipe swipe your credit card without having to use the !pay function. Don't worry, !pay still works!

Once you have sold your single spoon (or you are ready to close up shop for the day), just comment !sold or !close to lock up shop. This is detailed in the stickied comment.

Want to hold an auction? Now you can! Auctions are now available to the general public. Don't abuse it, or we may have to take this away. Here's how to do it:

  1. You can make an image or text post, whichever you want.
  2. Set the flair as Ongoing Auction
  3. Enable chat post
  4. Post it!

Please provide a timeframe for when the auction will be closed, and when it is over type !end to close it. This will change the flair and lock comments, as well as provide a link to the payment terminal. I'd recommend saving auctions for rare items - we don't want too many of them.

At this time, lotteries are a mod only event. We have no current plans to open it up to the public, and any such posts will be removed.
