Upgrade C9200 Network Essentials to Advantage

Hello fellow cisco redditors, I have a question on licensing, I'm assisting on a project and the client went ahead and purchase some network equipment without consulting me and now he's stuck with some Catalyst 9200 with the Essentials license, and after a long discussion on what he needs in production he actually needed the Advantage licence for L3 networking and VRF's
Is there a way to upgrade Network Essentials to Network Advantage?
